The season began with a dry and cool spring, which favored good fruit set in the vineyard. The summer was characterized by moderate temperatures and a large amount of precipitation in February and March, the months in which the harvest takes place. Towards the end of the harvest, rainfall decreased and temperatures did not have large peaks, they remained moderate and stable, maintaining the turgor of the berry and avoiding over-ripe descriptors. These conditions led to wines with great freshness and aromatic expression, high color intensities, elegant tannins and great structure.
100% Malbec grapes harvested by hand, all from different vineyards in Mendoza.
The grapes from different vineyards are vinified separately before the final blend. Fermentation takes place in separate stainless steel tanks, between 24°C and 26°C, for 10 days. Fermentation exclusively with native yeast. Matured in concrete vats for 6 months. No oak aging.
The wine has a bright violet red color. On the nose, red fruits notes prevail, showing aromas of cherries, strawberries and plums, as well as notes of walnuts. On the palate, it is juicy and fresh, with a balanced acidity. It is fleshy, fruity, with a full body, and a long, and tasty finish. This is a very foodfriendly wine, ideal to pair with several dishes such as red meats, pasta, or cold cuts plates.
